Portsmouth University have some fantastic new FREE opportunities for your children to get involved with UP for Uni outside of school. These events may be of particular interest to anyone interested in computing, animation, drama or English.

To game or not game? Friday 19 February 2016 (half term)

  • Test out a 3D simulation of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, created by games technology degree students
  • Try ZBrush professional game and film animation software
  • Discover how motion capture works

On it like a Shakespeare sonnet: Tuesday 23 February 2016

  • Work with a professional writer to learn about the language of Shakespeare and his sonnets
  • Have a go at writing your own sonnet
  • Receive a beautifully illustrated guide

UP for Uni – Streetspeare Project: Wednesdays until July 2016

We only have a couple of places left…

  • If you are a budding performer this FREE drama project is for you.
  • Work with a professional theatre director to create a short version of a Shakespeare play and perform it on board HMS Warrior in July.
