Holocaust Memorial Day

Representatives from Priory School were at the City’s Holocaust Memorial Day ceremony at the D Day Museum in Southsea today.

They listened to members of the Jewish community joined by disabled, Kurdish, Rwandan, lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender and Freemason citizens and Lord Mayor who led the short service.

Afterwards they lay stones under the Memorial Tree as a sign of respect and to honour the memory of all who have died or suffered in the Nazi Holocaust and subsequent genocides around the world.
