Parents’ Views Wanted

Our process to becoming an Academy with the Bohunt Multi-Academy Trust is now well under way. Much of this is very important back-office work. We would really love to work with you on the bigger bits: the vision and values of the school as we reach a natural turning point.

In our consultation with you earlier in the year, you helped us form the basis for our discussions with Bohunt about what the new Trust should focus on. This was about raising standards, making sure every child made good progress, keeping the school anchored in its community, but helping us to raise our expectations of what is possible for our pupils, whatever their background.

Setting up the trust is now well under way and Priory Governors have met with the Governors of Bohunt School to agree the make-up of the new Trust. It is proposed that two Governors from Priory will sit on the Board of the Trust and that both Bohunt School and Priory School will have their own Governing Body and Headteacher, as you asked.

What we would like you to do now is help us to shape the values and vision of the school as we move forward and we are running the parent consultation meetings which you have been contacted about. If you can’t make the final one on Tuesday 24th June at 6.30pm, please use the Survey Monkey link to let us know what you think: .Your ideas are really very important to us.
