Fantastic STEM opportunity for two Year 9 pupils

stemlogoPriory STEM is pleased to announce that there is a unique opportunity for two year 9 pupils to learn about Marine Technology, gain practical skills and meet industry experts.

This course is free of charge and includes three nights stay at the University halls accommodation with all meals provided. The event is hosted by the University of Portsmouth, in collaboration with Smallpeice Trust and Lloyds Register Foundation.

Over the course of four days pupils will experience a series of design & build projects, including hands-on workshops, a visit to local business and harbour cruise.  Areas covered will include naval architecture, ship design, off-shore construction and development of critical technologies in commercial and military vessels.  This is a great opportunity to meet new friends, industry experts and gain practical skills that will look great on their future CV and potential UCAS application.

If your child has an interest in attending this event they should see Mr McLean in room 31 ASAP.
