DUFFLE COAT FASHION SHOOT ON BOARD HMS VICTORY Wednesday 21st May, 2pm
On Wednesday 21 May, HMS Victory, Portsmouth will host a fashion shoot, showcasing the work of Year 9 pupils from Priory School to mark the end of Artswork’s Strong Voices Duffle Coats project.
Following a visit to the National Museum of the Royal Navy, pupils took part in a workshop with local textile artist Ami Lowman, where they were given plain duffle coats to customise. The finished designs will be modelled as part of a fashion shoot on board the HMS Victory at 2pm. Iconic British duffle coat designer Gloverall, whose work features collaborations with Vivienne Westwood and Fred Perry, will also be showcasing some of their famous designs on the day.
We will be leaving Priory School by Mini Bus at I pm. All pupils involved, please meet me, Mrs Houghton in the Art Department straight after second break. Anyone, who hasn’t yet returned their consent form. Please do as soon as possible.
