May we present to you the very first issue of Crew, the teaching and learning journal of Priory School. The name takes inspiration from the nautical theme of our school badge and our shared vision that every Priory pupil is a ship on a journey, ably crewed by our own professional community. Crew is a collection of articles written by Priory staff, reviewing training events they have organised or attended, sharing experiences of best practice in the classroom and celebrating examples of pupil progress. Our hope is that this resource will serve as a springboard for enhanced professional development for staff and nurture cross-curricular collaboration. Crew will also act as a tool for self-reflection, ensuring our pupils receive consistently good and outstanding learning experiences from classroom practitioners determined to develop professionally themselves.
The Spring Term issue will be published soon after Easter. In the meantime, we would be happy to answer any questions or receive feedback with regards to our first issue.
