Priory Allotment

Students from ASDAN Year 11 and NURTURE Year 7, have spent the past 12 months transforming their school allotment from an overgrown piece of wasteland into a fantastic area to grow fruit and veg!

They have worked really hard through the winter months clearing and preparing the raised beds & painting the shed, planting seeds and plants in spring and watering, mulching and feeding in summer. They have successfully grown potatoes, sweetpeas, green beans, lettuces, carrots, sweetcorn, leeks and tomatoes.

New groups of students will reap the benefits of their fellow peers as they continue to access this offsite resource.
