After the triumphant Sports Day success, the Priory Geography team headed to Action Stations to attend the TeachMeet. A TeachMeet is an informal meeting of teachers to talk about lesson ideas. Mr Rogers hosted the event that was attended by teachers from schools in from Southampton to Brighton. All of the Priory Geography team gave excellent presentations that were well received, Ms Debens’ revision Jenga and Twister and Mr Atkins’ upside down maps showcased the innovative practice going on within the department.
The highlight of the evening was seeing our very own DiGITAL LEADERS talking about their Curriculum Hacking event. They were confident, articulate and have influenced teachers from several schools to set up their own DiGITAL LEADER programmes. Well done to Robbie, Jonathan and Ella!
