Student Curriculum Hackers helping to transform learning at Priory

Over the past two weeks, a dare-devil group of young people have been hacking the Geography Department’s curriculum.  The work, carried out in conjunction with David Rogers, Curriculum Leader for Geography, asked the Year 8 and 9 students to make suggestions and develop lesson ideas.

The students added in aspects linked to rights, technology, fairtrade, greater choice and greater challenge.

We hope to roll out the idea to other subjects, making sure that young people’s voices are heard and acted upon.
