Yesterday the 16 pupils and two teachers from our partner school in Duisburg went back home after having spent a week with their English friends and their families in Portsmouth, who they met back in March.
We went to see the Lord Mayor , had a day trip to Windsor Castle where we nearly saw the Queen and went to the Isle of Wight. The German group also visited London and the HMS Victory and spent some time at school.
On their way back the girls cried until the stop over in Manchester. I think it might be safe to say, friends for life were made…
