On Wednesday June 12 six Year 8 boys attended a ghost writing day at Portsmouth Royal Marine Museum. The day started with a range of workshops and activities, including a ghost hunting exercise. After lunch it was time to put their ideas into action. They were set a task to write either a poem, story or news article, related to the day. The boys then spent time exploring the museum whilst judging took place. The biggest excitement of the day came when the winners were announced. Wesley Street was third runner up, Pascal Link came in second place and overall winner was Victor Damian, with his poem about a ghost soldier. All three boys won WH Smith vouchers and Victor will be reading his poem on Express FM later in the year.
