Priory Geography gains another award

On Monday 3 June, Mr Rogers, Curriculum Leader for Geography, attended an awards ceremony at the Royal Geographical Society in London.  The Society, which supports school geography, is famous for supporting expeditions run by Scott and Shackleton.

Mr Rogers was awarded the Ordnance Survey award for Excellence in Geography Teaching. He’s pictured with Micheal Palin (who was also receiving an award), Maria Larkin and the Director General of the Ordnance Survey.  The award recognises Mr Rogers’ commitment to transforming learning at Priory School and in ensuring that quality geography is taught.

Mr Rogers’ said that he couldn’t have done it without the hard work of the Priory Geography team.
