Priory School raised a generous £1190 last Friday as part of our Blue Day. This includes £132 raised by the audiences for our Dance Show earlier in the Spring. Every year we remember Tom and raise money for research into the condition which affected him and many other young people today. We also raise money for a medical research charity which affects one of our current pupils in some way. This year we we will be sending £700 to the Tom Prince Foundation http://www.tomprince.co.uk/ which funds research into osteocarcoma, and £490 to The Society for Mucopolysaccharide Diseases (the MPS Society) http://www.mpssociety.org.uk/, the only UK charity supporting individuals and families affected by MPS and related diseases. These are progressive, life limiting genetic conditions.
